PICPL is founded on 9th May 2023 by Er Kapilesh Bhate & Dr K Shantharaju, aiming to introduce an ace solution for wall-wall, wall-beam and beam-beam connections in the precast market. It is patented in 25+ countries already and is found incredibly useful for the precast industry from point of view of economy, speed & quality.
Over 6 years of R&D have positioned us as pioneers in this niche domain, providing solutions for strong ductile wall to wall connections. We have introduced our flagship product “The Precast India Connector” or “PIC” in India to good success in June 2023 and are soon going to launch in Singapore and Germany where the testing and approval process is in progress, with Thailand and Japan markets also on our sights
Donor (D)
The Donor Assembly of the PIC system is the longer tubular structure designed with a fixed diameter of 40mm (ID) and 46 mm (OD). This Assembly houses the primary connecting TMT bar, which is translated into place either via a rope pull method or through the Drive-Bit rotation method until the required embedment length is achieved in both donors and receptors. Length of the Donor can be adjusted as per the requirements of the Structural Engineer on case-case basis
Receptor R-S
The Receptor is the shorter tubular structure, acting as the receiver for the connecting bar translated from the donor side. The Receptor is available in two models— Small (S), and Medium (M)—to cater to varying precast element requirements, and both are of oblong shape for R-S Model, the dimensions of the GI Sleeve are 50mm w x 75mm h, and can be used for TMT rebars of 16mm or 20mm diameter. Length of the Receptor can be adjusted as per the requirements of the Structural Engineer on case-case basis

Description:
The Receptor is the shorter tubular structure, acting as the receiver for the connecting bar translated from the donor side. The Receptor is available in two models— Small (S), and Medium (M)—to cater to varying precast element requirements, and both are of oblong shape for R-M Model, the dimensions of the GI Sleeve are 57mm w x 81mm h, and can be used for TMT rebars of 25mm diameter. Length of the Receptor can be adjusted as per the requirements of the Structural Engineer on case-case basis
