Ltd. in Singapore has been supplying high quality fully threaded steel bars from our mother company, Stahlwerk Annahuette (SAH) in Germany to the Asia Pacific Region. SAS thread bar systems which feature high quality thread bars of various grades, up to prestressing steel quality, in a range of diameters from 12 to 75mm. 3.SAS 500 / 600 ULTS – Ultra Low Temperature Steel (-170 ̊C) – The newly developed Ultra Low Temperature Steel SAS 500 / 600 ULTS fulfils the requirements as per DIN EN 14620-3:2006. It is the thread bar solution for applications under cryogenic conditions down to -170 ̊C, e.g. LNG tanks.
The very high ductility of the SAS 500 / 600 ULTS exceeds the requirements for ultra-low temperatures at -170 ̊C and has the same ductility at -170 ̊C as an ordinary reinforcement bar at ambient temperature.
All the known advantages of SAS threaded bars are still retained:
– Cutting, shortening or extending by couplers is possible at any position of the SAS thread bar.
– Easy site approved assembly
– Screwable coarse thread over the entire length with self-cleaning effect.
